As a TJ Maxx Style Scout and in celebration of fall fashion, I’m excited to be hosting an exclusive event with some of my blogger friends – Keiko Lynn, My Style Pill & Be Chic Mag – on Thursday, September 12th from 9 to 11 am. Hey Helena! Love this post, I live right near that mural (recently painted by Shepard Fairey for the Dumbo Walls exhibit for the Wooster Collective 10th Anniversary) and the photos looks fantastic with the wine leather skirt! My favorite trends for fall are of course, leather, and embellishments! I just bought a leather skirt, much like the one you are wearing – only no pleats, and black – and I can't wait to pair it with a simple tee and embellished collar necklace. Or embellished booties! With big gems and statement pieces, the possibilities are endless!

Great post as usual. There are many trends that I am looking forward to this fall season especially being that fall in NY is like no other. One trend I really love and I am excited about is plaid. I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down and it can be quite chic depending on how it is worn.
