Holiday Gift Guide: For Him

Personalized Decanter ($45): Last year, I got this for a few people, paired with their spirit of choice and it was such a success. I love this one, too.

Hibiki Japanese Whiskey ($70): Speaking of spirits, Keith and I first discovered Japanese whiskey when I was traveling to Asia on business. So many people were raving about it that I had to bring home a bottle for us to try (a tradition of mine). A few year later, it remains Keith’s favorite spirit of choice. It’s not cheap, but I promise, any whiskey lover will appreciate it.

Personalized Cigar Box ($28): A friend of mine bought this for the groomsmen in her wedding and I was so impressed with how beautiful it turned out. I immediately made a mental note to add this to future gift ideas.

Nike Air Huarache ($110): It’s possible that Keith has more sneakers than I have shoes (true statement), but since getting these over a month ago, these have been his favorite. They’re hip and stylish without being juvenile.

Bose Soundlink ($179): We’ve had this speaker for a few years and cannot be without it!  The sound is full and rich for such a small portable speaker. We use it on a daily basis and it’s perfect for traveling.

Tickets: Generally speaking, my favorite type of presents (to give and receive) involve some sort of experience. Tickets to a concert, a show or to a sporting event.

Where Chefs Eat Book ($25): For the foodie in your life! For an extra wow factor, pair with reservations to a favorite (or new!) restaurant.

Personalized Cuff Links ($38):  A special way to spruce up dress shirts.

Camera Lens Mug ($12): For the camera guy in your life, or for your Instagram Husband, this clever mug is a must. Combine it with a bag of their favorite coffee for an added bonus.

Mike’s Hot Honey ($10): I first discovered this honey when I had the ‘hell boy’ pizza at Paulie Gee’s. We use it on everything from morning toast to chicken wings and I even added as an addition to my cheese plates. This honey is especially a must for any heat lover!

Marble Chess Set ($100): This beautifully hand-carved chess set is the perfect gift for any chess fan with a modern aesthetic.

Ray-Ban Aviators ($200): These look good on pretty much anyone! Keith has several pairs of sunglasses but he always reaches for these. It might be time for me to get my own pair considering I’m always borrowing his.

New York Times Birthday Book ($100): Aside from looking beautiful on a coffee table, this is the most thoughtful gift for the man (or person) who has everything. I showed this to Keith and his reaction “wow, that’s amazing!” It really is. I’ll be ordering a few myself.
