As we close out our final days of August, I’m slowly starting to put away my summer wardrobe and starting to think about fall. Every single year, time and time again, there are certain pieces that are key wardrobe staples. High on that list: a pair of cool, yet comfy, black ankle boots. This Marc Fisher LTD is going to be on constant rotation and I have to say, the patent finish is my favorite part. It’s the idea mix of “downtown cool” with a polished finish. Also, bonus points for being the ideal go-to boots for rainy days. Seriously, if you guys don’t own a pair of patent boots, I highly recommend!

I love these transitional pieces, especially those patent boots. Marc Fisher always has great designs and I like that those boots are patent leather. I’ll have to look into them since I do live in a place with very rainy weather.
