Some of you may recall the original story: I saw Geri Hirsch wearing them at a dinner we attended and after that, stalked them for 5 months on eBay (they were already a few seasons old at that point). Then, the stars aligned and I found them in the middle of the summer for $400!!!! They originally retailed for about four times that price, so yea, it was one of my proudest eBay moments.
I also want to take a moment to talk about my other latest score, a Hermes bracelet/watch that I found on The RealReal. The site has really become one of my favorite places to browse while I’m drinking my coffee in the morning. So much good stuff.
PS: Hair update: my natural base color, which I’ve been growing out for what seems like forever, was finally long enough to get some natural blonde highlights added in (also got some damaged snipped off). That was my original plan: highlights on top of my natural color, instead of the double process that I was involved in for so long. It’s been such a frustrating journey of me feeling ‘frumpy & dumpy’ the darker my hair got as it grew out, but knowing that it was going to make my hair healthier and easier to maintain, I stuck with it. I feel like I’m finally entering a good place and hoping it will only look better from here on out. This is just a little summery, but I promise to give a complete hair update/story soon since so many of you have been asking. In the meantime, let me know if you guys have any questions.
