Notes from a Birthday & Marathon Weekend!

Yesterday, our beautiful baby girl turned two years old, which is absolutely wild!

We woke up bright & early (thanks to daylight savings time), opened up presents and met our friends to go watch the NYC Marathon, what has become a yearly tradition. We had such a fun morning cheering on the runners and celebrating Sasha with donuts. Later in the day, our families came over for dinner to continue the birthday celebrations.

The Underrated Pleasure of Eating Dinner Early. This article is old, but it’s new to me. Someone I follow on Instagram shared it and it totally resonated with me. While I’m always down to partake in late dining festivities, I definitely prefer an early bird special. A 5PM dinner with a cocktail is one of my favorite ways to do it. How about you?
