By now, it’s no surprise that when I talk about the little things that make me happy in life, coffee is high on that list. I love everything from the taste to the special ritual of it all. It genuinely makes me excited to wake up in the morning and it goes way beyond just “needing” it. At home, Keith and I have a full-on coffee bar, which includes two Nespresso machines: the Citiz and the Vertuoline. We’ve been a Nespresso family for as long as we’ve lived together. In addition to the high-quality coffee and delicious taste, we truly love that they’re committed to recycling and sustainability. Their capsules are packaged in aluminum and can be easily recycled. For us, this is major.
Last week, I visited their newest boutique at 935 Madison Ave, located on the beautiful Upper East Side. Side note, it’s one of my favorite locations for people watching. I was on cloud 9 when I could grab a coffee and just watch everyone walk by.
This boutique is the first in the U.S. to offer a fully immersive coffee experience, and it also has a Take Away Bar. Basically, this means that you’re able to walk in, grab your coffee and go about your day, or if you wish to learn more, the Coffee Specialists are fully committed to giving you the best experience. Whether you have questions about your machine (or which one to buy) or to figure out which coffee suits your taste buds and preferences, they’re there to help you figure it out.
However, I have to say, my favorite part is downstairs. This is where you’ll find their coffee experts, known as The Bard, offering tutorials and classes – and I walked away with the best seasonal recipe, the Caramel Apple Latte. I used Nespresso’s new Limited Edition Barista’s Choice coffee, BARISTA Chiaro, which was specially crafted to be prepared with milk. Seriously, it was mouth-watering and smelled like fall in a cup. Here’s the exact recipe:
- Add ½ oz Caramel Sauce in glass
- Add 1 ½ oz of Apple Syrup in glass
- Add 4 oz of Frothed Milk
- Brew Vertuo BARISTA Chiaro (2 capsules)
- Top with Caramel Sauce and Cinnamon
- Enjoy!
If you happen to be in the area and are looking to spend a little bit of time learning about or enjoying coffee, I recommend stopping by the Madison Ave boutique. I went first thing in the morning and it was the best way to start my day!
Thank you to Nespresso for partnering on this post!

This place sounds wonderful! My mom first introduced me to Nespresso, she’s had several herself, and I am obsessed with them. Whenever I’m back in NYC I’ll definitely have to check this place out.

I too am a Nespresso lover. I started looking at them after a post you dod last year, but I bought my Virtuoline machine after our first European vacation last year. Every hotel we stayed at had one in the room and I became hooked. I also recently bought the same limited edition Barista collection of coffee and espresso and they are wonderful. Can’t wait to try your recipe!
