Whether it comes to my blog, styling a shoot or just getting dressed for the day, there’s nothing else that inspires me quite like fashion does. Personally, I use fashion as a form of self expression because it allows you to “say” so much without actually saying a word.

I had so much fun shooting this video for TJ Maxx where I was able to give a little glimpse into my world and how fashion influences it. Now that the weather is changing, I find myself reaching for brighter colors and airy dresses, but also still wearing my all time favorites like blazers and skinny jeans. I’ve always loved playing with trends, but I pair them with classics for a balanced look.
I’d like to think that my outfits and style say a lot about me and how I’m feeling that day (or month!). I would love to hear how you guys plan to self-express through fashion this summer. Please share your stories!

Love this post. I'm making my foray into fashion because I find that, while not talented at painting or drawing, my creativity comes out in my clothes. I'm a master accessor-izer and love unexpected juxtapositions of hard and soft styles. I love thinking of my wardrobe as a costume, and I can instantly change my mood with a simple change of clothes.

Such a cute video! I LOVE those metallic pants! My style tends to change day by day depending on my mood as well. During the Summer months though, I tend to gravitate towards fun sundresses with lots of gold jewelry. Fedoras and denim cutoffs are always a must as well 🙂

I agree with you totally. Clothes are a great form of expression. Living in Florida, I get to wear Summer Fashion longer than most. But I like bright colors, and more casual looks during the hotter periods. A little Sporty Chic with feminine accents.
