Let me start off by saying that Skinceuticals C E Ferulic has been one of my holy grail products for years. For those who are still not familiar, C E Ferulic is a vitamin C serum that provides protection against environmental damage. It also improves signs of aging and helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles while simultaneously brightening your complexion.  It's an incredible product with one major downfall, it's very expensive costing $166 for a bottle.

Now, don't get wrong. I'm willing to invest in my skin. I've obviously made that very known by some of the products I use and the treatments I get. But as I was going to pull the trigger on buying a new bottle, I thought to myself: "you know what. let me see if there's another, less expensive option out there." For the sake of research and my wallet, I had to try.
