Yesterday, I had one of those incredible New York City days that makes me appreciate the city so much. One of my post pandemic goals has been to rediscover NYC and act more like a tourist. It's something I've said many times in the past (pre-covid), but after the year that we had, I'm trying not to take anything for granted. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I realize that this look isn't for everyone, but it's one I had fun with. Keith has been pushing for me to wear Nike Jordans for eons and I finally took the plunge and bought a pair. In order to balance out the sportiness for the sneakers, I paired it with my L'Agence blazer, a simple white tee and a denim skirt.

Your Renovation Regrets & Rejoices.
As some of you may know, a few months ago, Keith and I purchased a lake house in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. For anyone whose been following me for awhile, may recall me mentioning what a major vision board goal it was for us.
After my father passed away, I vividly remember taking a solo walk around the lake and feeling a sense of calm come over me. I sat on a rock and thought "we're going to own a home here soon." It's been a goal for awhile, but after the last year, I wanted to do everything in our power to make it happen sooner rather than later.

Weekend Notes: June 6, 2021.
Happy Sunday! My kids are currently watching a little TV while playing and I'm getting a few moments of peace. We've had a busy weekend, driving back and forth from Pennsylvania to check in on the house to jumping straight into weekend activities. Today, Keith has to go into his studio for the new documentary he's working on. I'm taking Nate (and Sasha) to T-ball and then planning to hang out with my mom and the kids.
