New York has been so incredibly rainy & humid the last several weeks that I’ve been practically living in different variations of my hair up (braid, ponytail, high bun…etc). I’m still trying to master the fishtail braid, but even after watching countless You Tube videos, I cannot seem to get it down. Does anyone a particular video or tutorial that they favor? I’m not giving up until I get it right and I can proudly wear my hair like that in a post!

I think I have finally mastered the fishtail braid. The key is to use very thin pieces of hair and stop once the shorter pieces start to come out, even if that means a short braid. It also really helps to put your ponytail in a hair band before you start the braid and once you are done you can cut it out. Check out my tutorial here: http://babylikesit.com/page/4/
