I first heard about Beauty Pie when several of my in-the-know, trustworthy beauty sources started buzzing about them. Both on their social channels and in-person, over casual beauty conversations.
Then, the icing on the cake was when two of my go-to’s for all things skincare: Caroline Hirons and Grace Atwood – started raving about the quality of their products, their prices, and the entire Beauty Pie system. That’s what really put the brand on my radar more than it already was.
So, what is Beauty Pie?
It’s basically a luxury buyer’s club for skincare and beauty lovers that allows members to buy products AT COST! I know, it seems too good to be true but trust me, it’s not. It was founded by Marcia Kilgore, a renowned genius in the beauty industry and also the founder of Bliss, Soap & Glory, and Soaper Duper. Because of her extensive knowledge and connections within the industry, she had the idea to start a members-only club, where the member pays a fee from $10-$30 a month (depending on how much you buy) to get access to luxury beauty products. Think of it as Netflix for beauty.
The reason for the membership?
That’s really the only way Beauty Pie makes their money. All other costs like marketing, beauty markups (which are insane in the beauty space), celebrity endorsements, etc. are not part of their price. It’s all direct-to-consumer, so you’re avoiding all of that middleman markup. If you’re more into skincare than makeup, I recommend starting at $20 (you can always down or upgrade) to get access to some of the top-notch products and ingredients out there. The products that they sell come from the same exact top-tier labs that many of these luxury brands use. Also including a way to get $50 off below! Keep reading.
My Favorite Products:
Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm:
By now, I think I’ve made it pretty known how much I love balm cleansers to use as my first cleanse. I cannot tell you all how much I love this one! It’s buttery, has a light, pleasant smell and removes makeup beautifully. As a member, this will cost you $12.09! There are so many similar, high-end balm cleansers on the market that cost 5x the price. It’s pretty crazy.
Jeju Overnight Moisture Superinfusion:
When it comes to my night cream, I prefer it to be rich and decadent. Overnight is the time to give my skin as much moisture as it can handle, so I don’t skimp out on something that is too watery or not decadent enough; I can save those for the day. This cream, low price aside ($10. 41 for members), is wonderful. It’s packed with a multi-active, hyaluronic-acid hydrating complex and has this buttery-like texture that I love.
Superdrops High Intensity Hydration:
Loaded with Hyaluronic Acid and other soothing ingredients, these drops are super hydrating and make any mask or facial cream work even better. Personally, I prefer to use this one at night because of its thicker consistency.
Retinol:
One of their top selling ranges. At the moment, I’m not using any retinol because I’m pregnant but both Grace, Keiko, and Caroline raved about their Super Retinol range. Grace mentioned on several occasions how much she loves their retinol night cream, which she layers with a face oil on top. Keiko has told me how much she loves the retinol eye cream and Caroline has raved about the entire range in general. If you’re in the market for one, I recommend checking Beauty Pie’s out along with their retinol hand cream; I’ve heard from several people that they’ve seen noticeable difference since using it! Our hands show our age more than anything else, so always an important thing to remember. Just be sure to remember to slather them in SPF.
There are still so many other products to try, including makeup, candles and fragrances but these are some of my favorites.
And yes, all products are clean!
