Custom Made Moccasins: M.Gemi ℅ | Sweater: similar | Denim: Paige | Bag: Celine | Sunglasses: Celine
A basic-luxe look that I wore this past weekend. I jokingly (but not really) call it “basic-luxe” because while I couldn’t have been more comfortable, the rich fabrics and textures made it feel anything but basic. I paired my oversized knit turtleneck with white denim and these custom made moccasins from M.Gemi. When picking them out, I personally went with a neutral color, but they’re available in a ton of colors from neutrals to brights.
Some of you might be familiar with M. Gemi and their story, but if not, they have quite an impressive one. Their shoes are 100% handmade in Italy with the best materials you can get. These moccasins I’m wearing, which required absolutely zero breaking in and were soft as butter as soon as I put them on, (I mean it! I would never just say that if it wasn’t true…) have my initials hand painted on the inside of them! With the holidays right around the corner, I’m already thinking about who I can get these for.
I took these shots with my beloved Wheaten Terrier, Mika. She coincidentally happened to match my outfit perfectly, so I invited her to be in the shots as our little family went on our long weekend walk.
