Some of you might recall me mentioning that we currently have our nanny three days a week. I am extremely grateful that I’m able to be home with Nate a couple of days a week and am able to focus on everything surrounding this blog, on the other days. Typically, I reserve one weekday (plus weekends) for shooting and creating content. One day strictly for computer related things like editing, drafting posts and emails. And the third day will vary on what takes priority, whether it’s more shooting/editing or heading into the city for meetings or projects. It’s all quite the balancing act, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
There was actually a point to why I started the above ramble. Today I’m taking a chunk out of the morning to go see La La Land! The last time I went to a movie was over a year ago and normally, I’d feel guilty about “wasting” a couple of hours on a work-related day, but I made it a priority to finish my work late last night so there would be zero qualms on my end. Have any of you seen it? I’m pretty excited!

I LOVED that movie! I see about two movies a year in the theater now thanks to kids (and not really ever wanting to waste a date night on a movie) so it was well worth it.
