Next week, we’re heading on little getaway to Miami. This is going to be Nate’s first flight since the pandemic and Sasha’s first flight ever! In preparation for our trip and simultaneously, warmer months ahead, I’ve bought a few things for us.
First things first, the plane! I’m not worried about Nate flying. He was a pretty good flyer to begin with and now that he’s two years older, I know that I’ll be good with some books and his iPad.
Sasha is a different story. She’s at that age where she wants to explore and roam around, so I’ll have to come with a few tricks up my sleeve. Luckily, the flight is short so again I’m not overly concerned, but I did get her a bunch of stickers, some coloring books and if all else fails, I’ll whip out the kids tablet.
Shirt | Shorts | Bag (other favorite slouchy option pictured above ) | Slides | Sunglasses | Bikini Top & Bottoms.
Vacation Edition: A Few Things I Got
For Myself:
I got this button down and short combo and I’m liking it even more in person.
Also, this gauzy button down to wear with denim shorts or to layer over my swimsuits. For pool and beach slides, I picked these up. For sunglasses, Le Specs Air Heart is one of my favorite styles that I own in multiple colors. I have several beach bags (one of my favorite brands is Naghedi), but if I needed another one, I’d get this one. Quite honestly, I still might.
Hat Attack is another favorite beach bag brand. I will recommend, if you’re in the market, I’d get one now. They sell out pretty quickly once the season starts. This is one of my favorite straw bags that is simple and fits all of the essentials.
For the Kids:
I got this tie-dye sweatshirt and the matching sweatpants for Nate. I figured we could wear it for the plane or if we have a cooler day. I also got this 3-pack of shorts, these sneakers (I like to have them in the mix) and this pack of cotton t-shirts.
For Sasha, I got this dress and this bathing suit from H&M and this dress from Maisonette.
I also couldn’t help myself and got them some matching swimsuit prints from Minnow. I got these board shorts for Nate and this rash guard for Sasha. A lot of their pieces sell out quickly, but I’d give the brand a browse. Always so many fun things. Size up!

It is also known as Beethoven’s “heroic” period, because the composer was aware of the practical side of his art. In addition to his solo piano works, he also composed several symphonies. There are lot more interesting facts about Beethoven that can surprise anyone in this world.
