We’re 19 days away from Christmas, which is a completely crazy thought. Also, our baby girl turns one month old tomorrow! The balance of it all has been interesting, but honestly, not as crazy stressful as I thought. Nate has been so incredibly sweet and affectionate with her, something that’s been so special to witness. I know many of you are interested in a more lengthy post on the 1-2 transition, something I plan to dive into.

I’m really excited for this weekend! Tomorrow, I have a few of my girlfriends coming over for dinner and for some much-needed girl time. On Sunday, we’re also having our other friends come over with their kids. Lots of fun hosting this weekend, something I’m really looking forward to. I don’t plan to stress myself out, so I’ll probably whip up 1-2 things and then pick up a few ready-made things from the store. As long as we’re all together and there’s good background music (an absolute must in my book), something to nibble on and a little wine flowing, we’ll be good.

We’ve been wanting to get Nate a little arts and craft table, that could also double as his lego building station. This one has adjustable legs, which is perfect!
