Less is More:
There are days when I’m getting dressed and I start to overthink things. I try to come up with outfits that are “more exciting,” yet after 20 minutes of pulling items off hangers and throwing on the floor in frustration, I end up in an outfit similar to this one; a look I feel most comfortable in. A type of outfit that if I saw on a random woman on the street, I’d say to myself “I’m into that and yes! Less is more.” This may not always be the case. But on the days that I have my doubts, it’s the formula that always works best.
On White T-Shirts:
When I get asked what my favorite white tees are, I will typically say Rag & Bone. They’re undeniably a splurge, especially as far as t-shirts go. But they’re one of the best fitting brands that I’ve found. For something less expensive, I also really like this one from Madewell and most recently, the one I’m wearing in these photos. It’s a bit looser and comes in a variety of colors. I ended up getting a bunch from Nordstrom including: white, the light grey and a black. I also love the rolled up sleeve detail, which makes it look more expensive than it actually is.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!

I love the look of a rolled sleeve, but I find that they always get screwed up in the laundry, Do you iron them once they come out of the dryer? Or skip the dryer and hang them to dry instead? Inquiring minds want to know.

I have that exact same Topshop T-shirt and I love it, I even wrote a dedicated Blogpost about it haha! I agree, sometimes a good white tee and denim is just the perfect outfit formula!

I’m the same way and end up changing to a simple outfit! I definitely think spending more on a good classic tee makes all the difference!

Why are the simplest of outfits the most beautiful? I really need to get a good white tee…

Yes,it’s the perfect formula, especially when you incorporate stand-out accessories (shoes, bag, glasses) and a chic ‘do. I love this denim choice btw – how do they compare with 501s?
As far at Ts go, honestly the best I’ve found…the GAP! Not the tissue, but the classic (long, short, V, crew). The length and teeny bit of stretch make for a perfect fit.
