Yesterday it dawned on me that I probably wear white jeans in the winter more than I do in the summer. That sounds like an odd thing, but I’ve realized that I love the texture contrast of white denim with cozy knits more than anything else.
I wore this outfit with two different shoes, one for day and one for dinner and drinks. It seemed many of you preferred the boot outfit better (when I asked on Instagram), but personally, I prefer the shoe version a bit more. The boots are definitely more practical for a day of walking, but aesthetically, the shoe is my choice. Either way, it’s always fun to play around with options.

I think a lot of people tend to think white is a colour for the summer, but in fact, white is one of my favorite colours to wear in the winter too! I find it’s classy and elegant and exactly what you need to stand out from the crowds of New Yorkers dressed in grays and blacks. I like both shoe options but I think the first option would work even better for a day-to-night look.
