Whenever I wear an outfit with this Isabel Marant Lecce belt, I always get a lot of questions on sizing, whether I think it’s worth it, what color I prefer (I own tan and black) and whether it’s functional and not just stylish, etc.
I’ve touched on it before, but below is the full breakdown.
4 Outfits | Isabel Marant Lecce Belt
Belt: Isabel Marant | Jacket: Zara (old), similar version here | Turtleneck: Everlane | Denim: L’Agence (similar here) | Boots: Mango (TTS) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Belt: Isabel Marant (I speak of sizing within the post)| Blazer: years old, similar here | Tee: Vince | Denim: Mango (similar here) | Shoes: Saint Laurent, less expensive option here | Bag: Cuyana | Sunglasses: Amazon
Belt: Isabel Marant | Sweater: Everlane (wearing a medium) | Pants: Mango | Boots: Mango | Sunglasses: Le Specs
Belt: Isabel Marant | Dress: H&M, similar here | Slides: Hermes, budget-friendly here | Hat: Eugena Kim
Belt: Isabel Marant | Blazer: years old, similar here | Tee: Vince | Denim: Mango | Shoes: Saint Laurent, less expensive option here | Bag: Cuyana | Sunglasses: Amazon
Sizing:
I’ve had the tan color for several years in a small and recently got the black in a medium. While the small fits, I definitely prefer the sizing of the medium for more of that “loopy” look, especially with denim. I’m actually thinking of selling my small to get the medium in the tan.
Color:
As far as color, that’s really hard for me to say! They’re both neutrals, they’re both classic and I think it’s really a personal wardrobe preference. I’ve had the tan a lot longer, so obviously it’s gotten more use, but I wear the black quite often. If you wear a lot of black, it’s kind of nice to break up the outfit with a brown belt. This isn’t that helpful, but you really cannot go wrong. It’s just a personal preference and what you think will flow with your wardrobe more.
Functionality:
I find it does a great job as acting like an actual belt. Occasionally. I’ll have to readjust or tighten the strap, but nothing that I find too annoying.
I hope you found this post helpful! Oh and in case you missed it, the sunglasses I’m wearing in the first photo are actually the Amazon dupe of my Celine Tilda’s. Since the Tilda style is impossible to find these days, it’s a great way to get the look.

totally agree with you on sizing! I have one in tan (s) and am getting the black in (M). I am a 26 w and the small doesn’t have enough length to do the best knot.
