Happy International Women’s Day to all of the incredible women out here. Behind every woman, there’s a tribe of other women. I could not live without my women. My family, my best friends, my strong girl bosses – they are my support, my inspiration, my laughter, my shoulder to cry on and there, through the good and the bad. I often think, but probably don’t say enough, how much these women mean to me. Here’s my reminder to say it more!

Hi Helena, I love to read about individuals that have inspired others and why. Maybe next year for International Women’s Day, would you be able to write a post about a women that you know and how she inspires you. Many individuals, from bloggers to celebrities, wished the beautiful women in their lives a wonderful women’s day. I did not read a single post, however, where a person outlined in some detail a woman that means a lot to them and why. For me, a lot of the wishes came across as disingenuous and self-promoting – something to post because everyone else is doing it. Please, don’t think that I am accusing you of being disingenuous. I am not. I have been a reader of your blog for a while and that is why I enjoy your blog so much – because you come across as a genuine soul. I would love to read about some of the women that you admire and why. I hope that I haven’t distressed you by my comment.
